Gunnar Mein

Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Gunnar Mein is an experienced technology leader, including a17-year career at Microsoft, after which he taught high school science and computer science for 7 years. Gunnar holds a Master of Information and Data Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley. At together.science, Gunnar is the Chief Executive Officer and drives the mission and technical vision, and is responsible for all things research and development.

Qian (Cathy) Deng

Co-Founder, Product Management

Qian (Cathy) came to our team with a background in data science and analytics. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Boston College Carroll School of Management, and a Master of Information and Data Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley. She is currently working on her Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Chicago. Qian is responsible for advanced technologies across our offerings.

Gaby Arismendi

Co-Founder, Community Development

Gaby recently graduated from the Chicago Booth School of Business with her MBA. Prior to Booth, Gaby completed her undergraduate degree at UIC to be a high school English teacher, and later went on to earn her MSW at the University of Chicago. At together.science, Gaby leverages her professional background in education and nonprofit youth work to advance the team's marketing and user development efforts.

Dax Hawkins

Co-Founder, Development and Testing

Dax is a veteran software engineer with hands-on experience across enterprise, consumer, scientific, and aerospace applications. Dax holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado and an Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington. At together.science, Dax is responsible for development and testing.
